Movember is an annual event involving the growing of moustaches during the month of November to raise awareness of men’s health issues, such as prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and men’s suicide. The Movember Foundation runs the Movember charity event, housed at Movember.com.
Lifeline Hunter
Lifeline is a non-profit organisation that provides free, 24-hour telephone crisis support service in Australia. Volunteer crisis supporters provide suicide prevention services, mental health support and emotional assistance, not only via telephone but face-to-face and online.

Black Dog Institute
The Black Dog Institute is a not-for-profit facility for diagnosis, treatment and prevention of mood disorders such as depression, anxiety and bipolar disorder. It was founded in 2002 by the UNSW School of Psychiatry Scientia Professor Gordon Parker and is based in Sydney, Australia.
Dry July
Go alcohol-free in July and raise funds for people affected by cancer. Dry July raises funds to improve the comfort, care and wellbeing of people affected by cancer.
Royal Flying Doctor Service
The Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) is a not-for-profit charity that provides 24/7 essential lifesaving, emergency and primary healthcare to regional, rural and remote NSW communities, where access to healthcare is limited.
For 95 years, the RFDS has taken the finest care to the furthest corner. We provide lifesaving outback emergency aeromedical retrievals and hospital transfers, as well as on the ground GP and nurse appointments, dental care, mental health care, alcohol and other drug counselling, vaccinations, chronic disease management and telehealth.
World’s Greatest Shave
World’s Greatest Shave is an annual fundraising event from the Leukaemia Foundation that aims to raise money to support and empower families impacted by blood cancer and to accelerate blood cancer research.

This organisation fly’s four Westpac Rescue Helicopters from three bases, providing emergency aeromedical services to 1.5 million people across Northern NSW.
