How to Choose a Buyer’s Agent

Hi, I’m Tiron from Newcastle Buyers Agent and I wanted to give you a few tips on how to choose a buyers agent.

Firstly, you need to make sure they’re an expert in their area.

Are they born and bred in that location?
How long have they worked in that area?

When choosing a buyers agent, you should make sure their local knowledge is second to none.

What relevant property experience do they have?

When you’re picking an agent, make sure they’ve got those runs on the board, that experience.

You wouldn’t use an agent from another city to sell your home, so you shouldn’t use an agent from another city when helping you buy one either.

It’s similar to, you don’t use a solicitor to do your taxes; don’t use a commercial real estate agent to sell a residential property.
Make sure you choose the right specialist when you’re choosing a buyers agent. For example, I specialise only in buying residential property. I don’t manage properties. I don’t project manage. I don’t do property development.

I simply help people buy property whether it’s an investment or a home. It’s something that I’m passionate about and something you should look for when choosing a buyers agent is someone who is a focused specialist.

Thanks again for watching and if you’d like more information, please check out my website.
